____ On 28th of February, 2013, the software company "BEXEL Consulting", with its 30 young engineers, has become a partner organization of AESS. _____ At the meeting held on 27th February, 2013, the Chairs of AESS adopted the attitudes of the Department of the Civil Engineering Sciences concerning the justification for further consideration of the navigation channel to the Aegean Sea. _____ On 6th of February, 2013, the Innovation Center of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Belgrade joined us as a partner organization in order to improve our cooperation in the area of engineering inovations.
-------- The Electrical Engineering Institute Nikola Tesla joined AESS as a partner organization on January 22, 2013. -------- Good news with some delay. GENETIKA is official journal of Serbian Genetic Society, covering all results of genetic researches organized in five Sections. Its largest Section is Beeding of organisms, whose members are in the field of biotechnology, the most of them in the field of bioengineering. The Editor in Chief and Technical Editor of this journal as well as three members of the Editorial Board are the members of AESS, Department of Biotechnical Engineering Sciences. The journal GENETIKA is on Thompson Reuters ISI list from 2009 with IF 0.44 since 2011. -------- The Agreement on Cooperation between AESS and Serbian business club “Businessman” was signed on 20th December, 2012. Cooperation with individual members of SBC “Businessman” shall be defined by bilateral agreements. -------- The following Academicians of the SASA were elected the honorary members of the AESS at the meeting of the Chairs on 28.11.2012: Dušan Čamprag – nominated by the Department of Biotechnical Engineering Sciences, Đorđe Šijački, nominated by the Department of Electrical Engineering Sciences, Đorđe Zloković, nominated by the Department of Civil Engineering Sciences and Boško Petrović, nominated by the Department of Civil Engineering Sciences. -------- ELECTORAL ASSEMBLY OF AEES was held at 12h 12min on 12.12.2012. All nominated candidates were elected.
-------- 20th International Scientific Conference Telecommunications forum – TELFOR was organized by the Telecommunications Society and the School of Electrical Engineering, supported by IEEE Region 8, in Belgrade from 20th to 22nd of November 2012.
TELFOR was organized by the members of the AESS Department of Electrical Engineering Sciences Djordje Paunovic (the Chairman of the Steering Committee), Ljiljana Milic (the Chairman of the Organizing Committee), and important positions within the conference program domain were held by Miodrag Popovic, Branimir Reljin, Predrag Petrovic and Bratislav Milovanovic.
More than 2000 participants took part at this year’s TELFOR, over 400 scientific and professional papers were presented, 50% from abroad. The Conference was followed by many significant company presentations, technical, informational and commercial presentations, as well as equipment exhibition. -------- ELECTORAL ASSEMBLY of AESS shall be held on 12.12.2012. at 12 p.m. in the Ceremonial Hall of the Faculty of Civil Engineering in Belgrade, with the following agenda: 1. Introductory speech of the Chairman of AESS 2. Election of the working bodies 3. Reports on the electoral activities 4. Voting for election of new members of AESS 5. Granting “Nikola Tesla” awards 6. Report of the Electoral Commission on the voting results 7. Cocktail
