МИЛОШ КОЈИЋ, редовни члан Академије Инжењерских Наука Србије (АИНС) од 2002 године, рођен је 24. децембра 1941. године у Закути, Краљево, од оца Радивоја и мајке Манде, рођене Јовичић. Гимназију завршио у Крагујевцу 1960. Дипломирао на Машинском факултету у Београду - Одељење у Крагујевцу, 1964. као први дипломирани студент на високошколским установама у Крагујевцу. Магистрирао 1969. на ПМФ у Београду из области Механике, а докторирао 1972. на Rice University, Хјустон, Тексас из области пластичности порозних геоматеријала са кретањем флуида.

Од 1964. до 2007. године радио је на Машинском факултету у Крагујевцу у звањима од асистента до редовног професора. Од 1976. до 1996. радио је као консултант или запослен са трећином радног времена у Институту „Застава”. Године 1983. био је Visiting Scholar на Massachusetts Institute of Technology у Бостону, а од 1985. до 1992. консултант или стално запослен у фирми за развој инжењерског софтвера ADINA R&D у Бостону. Од 2001. је ангажован на Harvard School of Public Health у звању Senior Research Scientist. Године 2006. је изабран у звање Visiting Professor на School of Health Information Sciences, University of Texas Health Science Center у Хјустону. Сам или са коауторима објавио је до 2008. године преко 200 научних и стручних радова из области метода рачунске механике, развоја инжњењерских метода и примена у техници и медицини, од којих је преко 40 у водећим међународним часописима. Цитираност радова је преко 100. Такође је аутор-коаутор 15 уџбеника и монографија, од којих су три на енглеском језику, а две публиковане од водећих светских издавачких кућа: M. Kojić and K. J. Bathe, Inelastic Analysis of Solids and Structures, Springer 2005; M. Kojić, N. Filipović, B. Stojanović and N. Kojić, Computer Modeling in Bioengineering, J. Wiley and Sons, 2008. Иницијатор је и главни истраживач софтверског пакета ПАК (Програм за Анализу Конструкција) за моделирање у областсти солида (конструкција), флуида, преноса топлоте и масе, струјања флуида кроз порозне недеформабилне и деформабилне средине, спрегнутих проблема и биомеханике. Овај пакет се користи у истраживању, образовању, индустрији и медицинским применама; користи се у земљи и иностранству (Харвард, МИТ, Тексас универзитет у Хјустону, Универзитет у Хонг Конгу, универзитети у Немачкој). Под његовим руководством урађено је и одбрањено преко 30 магистарских и докторских теза (13 доктората). Први је председник Српског друштва за рачунску механику и главни уредник часописа Journal of the Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics. Руководилац је домаћих и међународних научних пројеката, подпомогнутих од Министарства за науку Србије, привредних организација и иностраних институција. Пројекти су из области компјутерских метода, развоја и примене инжењерског софтвера. Члан је Југословенске академије за нелинеарне науке.

За допринос развоју високог школства, индустрије и Града Крагујевца добио је већи број признања и одликовања: Повеља Фабрике аутомобила „Застава”, Диплома Града Крагујевца, Повеља Привредне коморе Крагујевца, Златна повеља Друштва инжењера и техничара Србије, и друге. Био је декан Машинског факултета, проректор и ректор Универзитета у Крагујевцу, Заменик управника Центра за научна истраживања САНУ и Универзитета у Крагујевцу. Ожењен је (супруга Гордана) и има два сина, Александра и Николу.

MILOŠ KOJIĆ, Full Member of Academy of Engineering Sciences of Serbia (AESS) from 2002, born on 24 December 1941 in Zakuta, Kraljevo; father Radivoje and mother Manda, born Jovičić. High school finished in Kragujevac in 1960. He graduated at Mechanical Engineering Department of University of Belgrade – Division in Kragujevac, as the first graduate at higher education institutions in Kragujevac, in 1964. He got his MS degree in 1969 at Faculty for Natural Sciences and Mathematics in Belgrade, in the field of Mechanics; and Ph. D. degree in 1972 from Rice University, Houston, Texas, in the field of plasticity of porous geomaterials with fluid flow.

M. Kojić was employed from 1964 to 2007 at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, from assistant to full professor position. From Од 1976 to 1996 he was engaged as consultant or part-time employed at Institute „Zastava”. In 1983 he was Visiting Scholar at Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Boston, and from 1985 to 1992 was consultant or full-time employed at company ADINA R&D for development of engineering software. From 2001 he is engaged at Harvard School of Public Health as Senior Research Scientist. In 2006 he was appointed as Visiting Professor at School of Health Information Sciences, University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston. He published alone or as coauthor over 200 scientific and professional papers in the field of computational methods and software development, and their applications in engineering and medicine, among which are over 40 in the leading international journals. The citation of papers is over 100. He is author and coauthor of 15 textbooks and monographs, among which three are in English; two are published by world leading publishers: M. Kojić and K. J. Bathe, Inelastic Analysis of Solids and Structures, Springer 2005; M. Kojić, N. Filipović, B. Stojanović and N. Kojić, Computer Modeling in Bioengineering, J. Wiley and Sons, 2008. He is the initiator and principal investigator of the software package PAK (Program for Structural Analysis) for modeling of solids (structures), fluids, mass and heat transfer, fluid flow through porous undeformable and deformable media, coupled problems and biomechanics. This package has been used in research, education, industry and medical applications; it has been used in the country and abroad (Harvard, MIT, University of Texas at Houston, University of Hong Kong, universities in Germany). He supervised over 30 MS and Ph. D. theses (13 Ph. D.s). He is the first President of the Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics, and the Editor of Journal of the Serbian Society for Computational Mechanics. M. Kojić is PI of domestic and international scintific projects, supported by Ministry for Science of Serbia, enterprises and international institutions. The grants are related to the field of computational methods, development and application of engineering software. He is a memeber of Yugoslavian Academy for Nonlinear Sciences.

For the contribution to the development of higher education, industry and City of Kragujevac, M. Kojić was awarded with a number of special awards, as: Award of Automobile Factory „Zastava”, Diploma of City of Kragujevac, Reward of Chamber of Industry of Kragujevac Region, Gold Medal of Serbian Engineering Society, and others. He was head of Mechanical Engineering Faculty, vice-rector and rector of University of Kragujevac, vice-director of Center for Scientific Research of Serbian Academy of Sciences and Arts. He is married (wife Gordana) and have two sons, Aleksandar and Nikola.
